well got everything ground off and started the four link
here are a few shots of the upper bars going in





bushings are supposed to show up for the lower bars tomorrow
already have the upper bag mounts made
should be able to finish the 4 link and bags tomorrow

the angle gauge on the rear end was to check pinion angle changes during the travel
it only changed a degree woot

it gets 12 inches of lift with crappy old firestone 2500s lmao

Looks like a good system. now please take this as constructive criticism is the lower link bars with the bags to the side will start to prematurely ware on the bushing causing the bar to twist as well. Usually you put the bar directly under the bag for best longevity of the system. just my two cents i have seen these fail due to rotten and eroded bushings.

i took the twist into account when building this system
the lower bag actually sits partially on the bar and the bag mount is on top of the bar
along with the angle of the bag,(i built it to compensate for the twist) and the way the lower bracket is built and supported
combine that with the monster poly bushings ,I think i have limited the twist and premature wear done to a very small amount.

now i just have to get the shock mounts made,finish a couple things on the cab

cool cool man. sounds like you have done your homework. I have seen way to many thrown together systems. not saying thats what you did. cant wait to see more.

threw the bed back on and took some pics
