hey bro, im not going to take your idea and run with it, its just a thought that maybe my brother would like them but if you would like me not to show them to my brother i wont then, but just to make my self clear THEY WONT LOOK ANYTHING LIKE YOURS AND WONT EVEN BE IN A MAZDA,hell they may be to small for him he wants BIG tail lights

that wasnt my point mazdaman. i have no problem with someone buying another set of the same lights and doing with as they please, but it was rude for mikey to dog me like that after i said i would hook you up with the information about the lights, just not until after low down. they are made by maxxima and come with a lifetime warranty. the guy at the semi truck shop that i got them at said if even a single diode goes bad bring it back, lay it on the counter and he will get it swapped out for me. its still just rude for mikey to jump in and do what he did. i wouldnt do that to him or anyone else. when i asked idminitrucker(jason) about the color he used on his he said he would tell me, but not until a certain time. i respected that and waited patiently to find out. mikey could have just left it alone and waited but he didnt. RUDE.

they are very bright. the outer ring is the reverse. mikey is a butt. and the inner is stop tail turn. the stop tail turn has a harness and the reverse has its own harness. 2 plugs per light and a lot of wires... lol. im still working on getting them mounted in the tail light housings.

haha that would work for a chevy then, there a single bulb setup anyway

i converted my factory lights to use the independent turn signal for stop tail turn. 1157 bulbs in the brake and original turn, harness conversion to be able to use the bulbs, and a trailer 5 wire to 4 wire trailer wiring kit to convert the tail light wring from where they split in the loom to go to each side.

damn thats a lot of work to get it to work right, you got 2 in each one right? i would have just wired it up one having brake and runing light, and the other being blinker and runing light

i did have it wired like that, mazdaman82. both upper and lower as running lights, then turn signal still up top with brake down below... but with the led replacement bulbs it was just hard to tell if i was braking and signalling at the same time. not a whole lot of light. and i had the bed off when i wired in the trailer wiring. i still use factory wiring sockets/pigtails at the tail light. no ghetto fab wire job. looks almost completely stock.

sweet, ya i can see not being able to tell if you are blinking or not mine where hard to see if i was or as well

the decision to make both bulbs a stop tail turn instead of having running light and turn, and brake and turn came after some st00pid b*tch in a new vw bug tried to rear end me going 65 and me being completely stopped waiting to make a left. i looked up just in time to dump the clutch and get into the oncoming turn only lane to avoid being taken out. she never even reacted. missed me by inches. i stopped and had a cigarette before i finished delivering the pizzas i had with me that night.
