what was the surprise? You already posted pics of the lights. I could tell right away they were semi lights. even if I couldn't it would have been a good guess as that seems like part of the theme to your truck. if I really wanted them I could have easily found them like Mikey did. even without you telling me.

it's a little different then someone not wanting to reveal their paint color right away. Having your paint or suspension copied and shown before you get a chance to hurts a lot more than seeing someone with the same tails.

if feel like this got a little out of hand. i'm sorry to say that no matter what you do, there will always be someone else that does the same thing or something similar. thats just what happens. i mean i have the same tails as mikey. he didnt tell me where he got them. i did the research and found it in a few minutes. just cause i have the same lights as him doesnt mean i'm going to go and paint my truck pink and copy everything that he's done. we are all more respectful than that. i'm doing a similar theme that he has done in the past and out of respect i'm staying away from the shark teeth on the side of my truck. that would be too much cause then my truck would look almost exactly like his which is a dick move. having the same tail lights is nothing. why make such a fuss about it.

thats fine, you all miss my god damn point. i was asked where i got them and i said i would tell after a certain time. EVERYONE of you could have respected my decision not to say what they are and where i got them until i revealed that myself. if you want to go find it for yourself thats one thing but dont pop onto my build thread and take that from me. i said i would disclose the information. at a specific time. that doesnt give ANYONE OF YOU any right to take that from me. your buddy may have them on his s-10, but i have never seen these particular lights on any truck in any of the mags ive looked at, or on the street, yet, thats why i went with them. i spent a lot of money and them and was excited to get them done, and someone ruined my moment. thats all there is to it. i wasnt being a dick and saying i wouldnt tell anything about them, i just said im not saying anything right now. i have that option and right to be able to do that, but none of you have the right to take that from me. that would have been like when i asked about jason's paint on his mazda, and he said i will tell you but not later, how do you think he would have felt if one of his friends jumped on this forum and did to him what mikey did to me? i dont think jason would have been happy if someone did that to him. same thing applies to this situation.

here's an example, roach did an ext cab on his std cab short bed, i was there the first day they were working on it. i didnt come back on the forum and answer anyones questions about what roach was being secretive about his truck. cause i respected his right to surprise us all with his project. i didnt ruin it for him, mikey or any one else could have shown me the same respect. thats what im trying to get across.

and for me its not a mini truckin lifestyle, cause from what i've seen about "mini trucker lifestyle" is what gave mini truckers a bad name in years past. drinking, fighting, random destruction, talking shit about someone else's ride cause its not in your class, or to what you think up to par is. i'd rather surround myself with people who just enjoy rolling a modded ride. yeah i laugh at the "ricers" cause they usually have mad attitude. if your friendly and you wave and i wave back, or i wave and you return the gesture, then cool. but dont mean mug me cause you think your better. we are all equal and deserve the same respect. yeah i drive a mini truck, i call myself a mini trucker, but i dont want to be associated with people who cant show others equal respect.

still you miss the point, i asked for patience of one month and then i would reveal. yeah you might have the same lights as mikey, i dont care if someone wants to have the same f ing lights as me, all i asked for was a month. i wasnt given that respect. instead i get shafted by someone because they feel high and mighty and that i have no right to ask for one months wait time.
