was playing with the open close aspect of the hood to see what i could do... couple shots of what i found to be kind of the coolest idea...

so im thinking about starting a project of making my own instrument cluster... this is kinda close to the idea i have... this of course is photoshopped... but close to the idea i have in my head...




added the evil m to the rpm side...

im thinking black numbers, clear cluster plates, and bright blue led dash lighting... thoughts?

radio bezel glassed...

that looks really good man, can see the top a little but that ok..i put the switches for the last truck there so i know how hard it is to do that piece

there is a "seam" or line around the radio bezel hole where the glass meets the plastic. i didnt use a filling sandable primer, just went straight to semi gloss black... im still just testing the waters with a lot of stuff so i test it out to get a feel for it so i can have a better understanding of how to do it better for next time.

hey leland if you do clear plastic and leds make sure you have a dimmer on that or you will blind yourself
