Mazda needs some more hp project =)

Picked up the new rear end for the mazda, toyota 5 lug. Just need to clean it up now.

Picked up the motor and trans this week and got it cleaned up abit, cut my motor mounts off to that day lol.

Thought I should do some progress photos, got the motor where i want it now and able to keep the stock hood with a 3" body drop!!! Smothed out everything on the frame, every hole and the seams on the frame are welded and smoothed. Going to weld the mounts for the motor this week.











Motor mounts and shaving firewall is the plans for this week.......

Sweet....Good progress man. Are you going to use the cast iron exhaust manifolds? I always wondered what headers poeple used for the V8 swaps. It seems like the collectors would be the lowest point, especially on a BD truck.

looks good man im doing a 283 chevy right now just got my motor mounts but havnt put them in yet they are s10 v8 conversion mounts for a 2wd 2.8l what are you using and when you ressesed the firewall did you run into any problems with mounting brackets for the dash good luck man

He got blockhugger shorty headers. They are pretty cool
