Little update. No pics sorry. Got the front end pulled back off and hoping to pull the motor out this weekend. Keep your fingers crossed for me. And thanks for the votes.

The diesel is going to be sweet....My original thoughts were a diesel (My town is full of them, of course they are jacked up dodges with stacks though).... so ive always wanted to bag/body a truck and put a diesel in it

The look that would be on their faces when they got passed by a mazda blowing smoke on them...lol

Cant wait to see the end results!

So now I need to ask for some votes. Now I really need to replace the slam 6's with something bigger bags. The motor weighs ALOT and it needs alot of pressure to raise the front, so bigger bags will fix that problem. Please vote!!!!!! THANKS!!!!!!!!!!

Good progress chuck! Man that swap looks like it might be quite a bit of work. You plannin on ss7 or re7 bags? Might have to dish the frame to get them to fit good. looking good man.
nc4life   +1y

Thanks man. The swap is fairly easy new motor mounts, new bracket off the tranny mount for the tranny and 6-8 wires is all it needs to run. The biggest part is going to be adapting the mercedes tranny to a mazda driveshaft. The Mercedes tranny has a weird output shaft(more like its a flat plate with rubber mounts). As far as bags probably the ss7 and my frame is already dished....I actually planned ahead for bigger bags just didn't think it would be this soon....LOL
