been working hard on the truck and trying to stay busy. i put led tails and corner lights on the truck recently.

i used trailer lights for the stop/park lights and some led squares for the reverse and turn signals.

these are in the stock lenses but they look way sicker in the aussie lenses. i'm still perfecting them. the turn signals arent as bright as i would like them and i might swap out the led reverse lights for some small fog lights i found.

i also got rid of my turn signals in the bumper and made my corner lights running lights and turn signals.
just used a bunch of led strips from autozone.

i used amber ones for the running lights and white ones for the turn signals so when they are both on the turn signals look yellow and the running lights look orange. they are a little more noticable that way.

i'm still working on the grille too. i got all the pieces bent and now i'm just trying to get the aluminum to line up perfectly. then i will find a way to mount it all up. shouldnt be long till thats all done and on the truck.

very cool bro that looked like alot of work.

it wasnt hard it was just really time consuming. most of it was soldering wires together.

i wired all of them so they still use the stock plug so if i every decide to go back to stock lights or something like that i can just unplug them and plug stock ones back in.

cool project man. i thought of doing an army theme. my s10 was the same colour primer. u should post some pics of the progress of the grille and tail lights in the dark and daytime or something. have you heard or found any bombs for the compressor? i think you should do some rivets on the body

work on the grille has been pretty slow. it sat for a long time untouched but it looks like its going to be finished this week. i'll try to take some pictures of it. i have some cool ideas for paint like getting rivets air brushed all over the body but thats a ways off. i should have my grille and head light swap done within the next week or so. i'll try to get pictures up as soon as i can.

i havent given a good update lately so here we go.

progress on the grille has been going well.
after bending the aluminum i realized that they barely lined up so i used a torch and some vise grips to get them to match up better.

i started assembling it to see what it would look like and it almost looks like i knew what i was doing lol

theres still a lot of work and it is far from done but it is coming along nicely.

i also recently retinted my windows. they are much darker now and i finally tinted my back window. it makes the truck look a lot nicer.

the club also recently redesigned our stickers and they are 100x better than what they were

after 2 months of waiting my link bars finally arrived so this thing will be brought down to earth very soon.

Grilles looking good dude. That's how I did my grille. I don't know if you have figured out how you are gonna attach it yet but how I did mine is to use a long nut type coupler on the ends of the threaded rod then used bolts to go through the top and bottom of the grille into the couplers. If you need a pic just let me know. No hard feelings from our past crap k?
beatmymini   +1y
i was thinking about counter sinking screws into the threaded rod so that you dont notice where its attached as much but i'm curious to see how you did yours. and the past is the past. i dont really hold grudges.

Yeah man I see what you're saying. You can drill the grille and use a bevel headed scrw with a flat top head to sit real close to the grill and screw that into that coupler. Ill get you some pics tomorrow

Your truck is coming along great. Im gonna have to search aussie Ebay and get me some of those tail lights, they look killer. The LEDs will be nice behind them.
