well so far, what i can tell you is that the damplifier pro is that it is the thickest mat ive messed with. not only the butyl mat backing but also the aluminum facing, which is actually very important to how good the deadener is. the damp pro doesnt need to be heated up to achieve maximum adhesiveness. lol. its easy to work with AND it doesnt cut you up as much as the dynamat pro either lol. i recommend it to everyone weither it be doing it to gain spl, or just to kill noise and vobration outside the cab.
