86 b2k ext cab...slow go

Here's my 86 b2000, I purchased it in 2003 to use as a work truck and about 5 years ago I received a company vehicle to drive and it's been sitting in my driveway/garage ever since...I always wanted to bag it, but never had the money or the motivation to get started on it...I'm still broke, but I figured I might as well start tearing it apart!

Last of the pics for now...this is going to be a very slow going project, but my plans are bags, some shaving and possibly a body drop...I'm not 100% sure at this point, but it should be fun either way.

Yeah, I love my new garage , if you notice there are stairs in the back up to my "man cave" haha, unfortunately paying for the new house and garage is going to limit my funds on the truck Hence the title "slow go".

This may be a dumb question, but are there any negatives in using a front bag bracket like the one from airbagit.com () ? It appears to bolt-in in the top...Only ask because I'm not a very experienced welder.

good start but i wouldnt use those get ahold of dev at the bag shack he can hook you up with a good set. the ones you are looking at will bend, and give some around the outside corner. not very strong.

I've made a little progress since I last posted pics...I've got all of the interior and fenders pulled off the truck now. I also got all the wiring and brake lines pulled off the rear. I'll post some more pics when I do something more interesting

Question...could someone explain the differences between a traditional, stock floor and channeled body drop? Maybe break them down in difficulty for me? I've decided I'm going to bd it, but see there's a few options.
