So I finally made a little more progress last night, I picked up an angle grinder and some jack stands that were on sale and got the front all up on jack stands and started cutting off all the unnecessary tabs/brackets off the back half of the frame.

Question, what's the best thing to use to strip the frame? (ie. take off all the rust and coating and shit to get it ready for welding) Just experimenting a bit with the angle grinder and a grinding wheel which seemed to work ok, just didn't know if that's ok to use or not.

Haven't made much progress over the winter months on the truck, just been sitting in the garage collecting dust.

Recently came across a little spare cash though so I think I'm gonna get back at it.
