Made a little progress this week...got the windshield pulled out (pain in the ass!) and the dash is out...still working on the rest under the dash. Also decided on a traditional BD, probably 2-2.5".

Got all the shit under the dashboard pulled out tonight. Also pulled out all my AC stuff up to the compressor and got the rest of the headliner out. I pretty much decided I'm probably not going to be putting heat or AC back into it when it's done. I guess the fortunate part about me not starting on this truck 5 years ago is I had to drive it then and now I can pretty much go all out since I don't "need" it.

Hopefully I'll get some extra cash tomorrow and can go buy some tools I need so I can start stripping the frame...the longer it sits the more ideas I get and the more expensive they get!

I'm getting ready to start clearing off the wheel wells under the hood...could someone give me a brief overview of what all the shit on the pass side well is? They appear to mostly be relays, just not sure what I need to keep and remove...Currently I do not plan on putting heat or AC back into the truck if that makes a difference.

Most of that stuff is for the emissions and for the stock carb. If you have a weber, you can get rid all that and the wiring for the stock carb. Theres also a harness for the lights and such over there that you need to keep, but its separate from all the carb wiring.

Do you happen to know if the little silver box I pulled out of my passenger side floorboard is carb related also? Hard to describe I guess it's a little larger than a car alarm brain.

Yeah I assume your talking about the ecm thats behind the passenger side kick panel. Thats for the stock carb, if you have a weber carb the ecm does nothing.
