Layd out 87 with new z71's pic on page 6

on the passenger rail? i see a square hole. right next to the round one.

i jus went out and checked....there is a hole bout 1' maybe 1.5' in diameter... It was there from the factory, there are several other holes like this on both rails..

yeah isnt there usually a crossmember there

thats cool i think the wife and i are gonna redo the bottom paint back to flat black you goin to layed out in the park next year

There wasn't one there when I started cutting on the truck...the only crossmember i took out was the gas tank support, I cut it up and used pieces to make my perches for the bottom bars...

but I am gonna add a Xmember around the back of the cab, and run my exhaust over it, to keep away from the ground...and I already have my metal to run the 2 bridge pieces

yea, as long as everything works out like it should, I will be there hopefully with the mazda, and my wagon...
I wish i knew a couple more ppl into the shows that didnt' have there own ride, we need someone to drive a couple cars lol...

I cant drive the mazda and wagon, and if my dad drives one of them he cant take his wagon...and then my uncle is gonna havto choose btween his bagged toyota or wagon... lol

Looking good.Tha accord looks pretty damn nice to.Make sure you put something fairly beefy across the back of the notch when you do add a crossmember.When you took that other one off you made it fairly weak back there but you should be okay.

I already added the Xmembers... I put two 1X2" square tubes, with a 3/16" wall... I think they should be plenty, but i also, bought enough 2X3 to run a larger Xmember around where my front link tabs are...still thinkn on doin that...

Also got everything paintd, flat black for now. Atleast until i decide on a color for the truck n then I'll be getting it all powdercoated. And the bed is cut out for the notch and wheels.

Will be working on mounting the bed, gas tank, air tank, and all that tommorow. Will also be taking some pics
