yes the rear memeber will be replaced and relocated closer to the cab. Sadistic mention that he sometimes install 69 beetle shocks on mini trucks. Anyone every use shocks intended for other vehicle on air builds? Looking for something i can get in town at the local auto parts store so i dont have to wait for shipping or pay for duties. One thing in mind is that my truck with notch, 4 link, full fuel cell, compressors, tank etc will be much heavier than a 69 beetle. input about shocks is apreciated

HOW ABOUT SOME THING LIKE THIS

I like the way you have the tanks set up in the picture. When mounting your shocks try and keep them as close to vertical as possible. They lose effectiveness the more angled they are.

Thanks for looking guys!

I actually had that picturee saved on my computer but it was taken on an angle. I like how the compressors are mounted, paralel with the frame rails. Thanks! thats good to know, dose anyone know what kind of shocks i could pickup at any auto parts store that would work?

quick update here, just got my new front bag mounts in from illusive fabrication( thanks for the decal!)so im hoping to have that done tonight if all goes well. i have also started making the mounts for the air and fuel cell. Yesterday i was cutting some of the material to make the frame crossmemeber and got pissed off at making cuts with cut off wheel so i went to Home Depot and got a RIGID 14" chop saw with Lifetime warranty

Looks like a nicely welded piece in the first pic - keep up the great work!!
