The only reason I was redoing the front susp is to lay frame. My lca's and subframe are trimmed to lay out

I'm having trouble justifying another 5 thousand on a truck I already have close to ten into that is still only going to be worth 1200 when its done. If I part it out I'll be taking an estimated 5-6 thousand dollar loss and come out with a few thousand in parts. Its much easier to justify this money into something I can actually use like a new sled.

Tried laying the truck out with the lower flipped and with both fliped and the upper is still binding. The only reason I purchased spindles was because I was told I would not need to pie cut my uca's. Figure I can make 4 thousand back on parts and take a minimum 4500 loss

Got my truck up on 7" bocks and im trying to get 7" blocks under the wheels. No mater what something is binding and i beleive it is the upper balljoint. Im trying to lay out on 24.5" diamter wheels. Everything is trimmed so it clears except there is a binding issue. Im running s10 balljoints with the drop spindles. the pictures are taken at the point when it binds

I am still aprox 1 3/4" from getting the block under the tire

How far is the lower control arm from hitting the frame
skrapinsask   +1y
aprox 2.5" there is clearance everywhere donw there

put the lower ball joint under the control arm and see what happens I can not see why you are not laying out.

tried getting it off the blocks
the upper balljoint still binds when the frame crossmemeber is still above 2" from the ground

Pretty fed up with the project and still dont think i can justify thousands to get it back onto the road
i might just cut my losses and take the 4 grand loss and sell 4 grand in parts so basically breaking even
