Ok Fella's I figured as how I'm going to be hanging out here while I learn about yet another Project.
I might as well bring you up to speed on this Bought Project (Two Cute) Yup that's what the wife has let her friends From DogpoundOffroad name her Daily Driver.

So I went Crazy with the Camera today, some of the things I can tell you about some I can not, so if you see somethging in the Pictures that is Dead Wrong or in your opinion Needs attention Now, Please by all means Speak up.

Let me get this out of the way first. I have never built a Bagged mini before... I have only Built 4X4's

that's why i'm here to learn... one thing I have learned, the good part about buying one that is built, now all I have to do is Profect.....

So here we go.

not too bad. one thing i would redo. i would move the lower link bars farther out. my bushing ended up right under the old spring perch. of course i ran mine under the frame. it moves the bars out to give more stability. the top bars i owuld change as well. teh pumpkin location isnt too bad, but move the forwards out more as well. just my 2 cents.

Nice ride. I think you can get a light for your gauge at Summit Racing. You can also get the 92-95 4-Runner lights for your front bumper cheap on Ebayy. There was two things I saw that I would put on your list of to dos. First that electric fuel pump should be as close to your fuel tank outlet line as possible. They are pushers and the farther from the tank you put them the less efficient they are. The other thing has been said, but I don't know if I would do what was said exactly. Your link bars are almost parallel. I would move all 4 front mounts out as said before, but I would also move the top rear mounts in. Maybe use the inner tabs as the new outer tabs. I just think if you are going to go through the trouble of moving the links at all you might as well make it as good as you can. Other than that I LIKE IT! Nice tilt bed too, is it set up with a lifting bag or is it manual? -Ed

I love the tilt and it looks good so far but do you have a better pic of the lower bag mount.

Ed and Snow Plow I wrote your Suggestions in My Todo list..

And Yes the Electric Fuel pump relocation is on my list, the Carb has a Glass Fuel filter on it and the pump will not keep the glass full..

92-95 4-Runner so that's the ones I need to find.

Also I have a Bag to add to lift the bed with and that is on the list.

Pic of the lower Bag mount no not yet.. but now that you mention it, Geeze that would be a good thing to see.

Also There is not Drain on the tank... Have to figure out how to overcome that problem

few things i see are that the welds overall look very solid. too me the link setup is a descent setup as long as you arent going to be hotrodding it and busting through curves and such. the toggle switch under the tank pressure gauge seems like it would be the on off switch for the compressors? if it is i would suggest putting a pressure switch in and using the toggle as a back up just in case deal. you dont want to forget its on and burn things up. as for the engine driven compressor. looks like the line coming from it has had some rigging. i believe there is a how-to on here somewhere that shows the proper way to transfer from the comp to air line safely and reliably. Other than that man the truck seems to be a very good start. Have any pics of the front setup?

Hey Justin Thank for your suggestions, and Yes I want to put a pressure switch on it The Wife don't need to worry about Tank pressure, I also have on my Todo list is Inlet filter for compressor and individual Bag Gages so she can get use to seeing how much pressure is in the bags for the sweet spot where the ride is just right.

We are glad that you all think it's a good rig. One of my Friends in Our Offroad Club said he was proud that we got so lucky to find a rig that looked sound for us not knowing what to look for.

I also agree with sno and Ed on the bars, glad to see your willing to fix them.

But it mainly looks like you have a lot of cleaning up and re-routing some wires and it will look a 100 times better. Do you plan on sheeting the bed, and front tubs?

Also on the air tank if it doesn't have a port were it will allow the water to drain out, I'd say replace it for $60-70 for a tank not a bad investment if it has been on there a while rusting away. The tanks offered up for air ride are not the thickest by any means.
