truck wont start ,i replaced the battery , i think its time for a starter i had to sometimes tap on the starter to make it run

Truck is looking good. Why did you change the front clip? I thought it looked pretty sharp all one color.

so when i look out the window i can pretend im driving my old truck , haha i dont know just wanted to do something since im pretty angry that the truck isnt running , any ideas?? when i turn the key over it makes no sound but theres power from the battery it was replaced i had it running this morining but i washed it after replacing the parts and now it wont do anything i tried to tap on the starter like usuall but nothing also i got a alternator from a 94 tercel incase its my alternator would that work on the truck ?

no sound? is there a click or anything, check all your fuses and relays? maybe you got something wet that shouldnt be and it needs to dry out

It sounds to me like your started finally died. You should change it anyway, if you have to tap it.

Well i got it running agian thanks to my uncle , he gave me a book so i decided to read it since it was raining out and i held the key in the start position put the brake in and put it in reverse , nothing , same thing in nutral and she fired right up . hopefully it will hold off untill thursday so i have some $$ for a starter
