If you get control arms and you are not using drop spindles then do not get them with s-10 ball joints get them set up for stock spindles or take 1 inch out of the control arms and use drop spindles.if its that big of a difference where your wheel sits. I am almost done setting up the front end with the cando arms and I think I will be taking an inch out of them myself but will wait and see. i still have to get my rims LOL. I also have to pick up my 10 degree taper today so i can do the upper hole in the spindle to fit the s-10 ball joint in properly.

I Know there hasnt been any real updates since before christmas but im starting to get some progress. I lost my job just around the ending of november. Ive been working for about a month n a half now suffered a pretty good paycut but i get weekends off atleast im happy about that .

Now i got The front completely cut out. Hard to notice in the pictures but there is about 3-4 inchs of the inner fenders ( was like 8 ) no wheel wells at all , you can see the control arms, the passenger side only has the battery tray left

Removed the gas tank, cut the muffler off so we can fit the tranny xmember in and we cut out the crossmember above the axle and leveled the truck

We have welded the tranny xmember together. things took longer then we expected but our next step is this. We are going to clean up the frame to weld in the crossmember then hook up the four link, after that we plan on cutting the entire backhalf of the frame and start from scratch:)

but i have only one concern that is the ABS i beleive it is just above the axle mounted the the frame on the passenger side do i need to keep this ? becuase one line runs from the "abs" to the passenger drum break the other runs to the drivers side drum dont i need to keep these lines? if not how will my truck stop or have any breaks in the rear if i dont need to keep it then does this mean i just have to toss all the break lines since im running a rci fuel cell also whats the thing that sits on top of the axle and hooks into the wiring harness do i need that also>? my guess is its to detect speed?

Thanks for any help or input guys i need to know if i should keep the abs , the electrical thing on my axle"pumpkin" preferably before the weekend
