Chafin, yes I would need some wheels to roll on till I figured what I am going to run on this. As I said they are yours, just waiting on you. I enjoy helping people make nice rides so just let me know if you change your mind so I can find another home for them.

As for the cowl, my dad owns a fiberglass shop, mainly producing aftermarket and original pieces for the pontiac fiero, () they take that car as serious as the B-series community, so we discussed the idea of using the sonoma hood as a plug for making a mold of just the scoop. Then pulling a part and seeing what it would look like on the mazda, making it fit right and then producing it. It is a lot of work and a little bit of expense to do it right but as I stated before this is a slow and low project. Not in a big hurry and I want as much of it done right as I can do. If anyone would be interested in a hood scoop like that give me some feedback and that way I can decide if I need to make it able to pull a couple of parts for me or if I should make it able to reproduce for the community. There is no way to know the final cost of it till I pull one and see how much material and how difficult the mold ends up being. let me know,
thx

What a small ass world... I emailed you about that truck a few times trying to snag some parts off of it. I had no idea you used to run solo, I used to go up there all the time. I will have to come over sometime and check out the truck!

ok, im stuck. Have I forget something. Im ready to tack in the brakets so I went ahead and put it together just to get an idea of travel and where exactly to put the brakets and I noticed that even with no suspension, it doesn't lay anything. Its not even close. Is there more that I need to take off?

in this last picture, do i need to take off the long torsion bar that goes towards the middle of the truck?
I hate to ask as Im sure it is an obvious answer but it will be easier to know rather than experimenting with it myself, as Ive never done a truck like the mazda before. Ive noticed some people just cut it off right outside of the LCA?
Thanks to any and all that can help.
