I'm ok with the progress. I haven't really worked on it that much. The most I have put in on it is 3 hours a day and I on;y work on it on Sundays because it is in my in-laws spare garage and its about a 15 minute drive in the opposite direction than I normally am. But I hope to find a welder by next weekend and maybe get the front welded and the bed off to do the rear. We will see.

sorry forgot to answer this.
They are 16 inch billet specialties. They are pretty old school but are still nice to look at and are made for the Mazda, no cut tabs with 6 lug.

As for the length off time it's taking me, i am happy with the progress, just wish I could work on it till done like when I had my shop. For what has taken me several Sundays to get to I could have had done in a short weekend. But again I am happy with how it is coming and the best part is I haven't spent any money yet other than buying the bag brackets and the cut off wheels. I found a welder so hopefully this weekend I'll be able to finish up the front and get the bed off to start the rear.

That looks good I am impressed with it so do you have to modify the trans hump in the cab to fit a v-8 in I am curious

I did not put the V8 in the truck but as far as I can tell there is not modification to the inside of the cab or the firewall.

i had one and i didnt have to...it was not body droped then only thing is make sure you get a motor out of a rustang that way you have the right headers i got my motor out of a mavrick and it had one scewed up header ..had to cut the floor to get it to fit... then got smart and bought me some real headers ...lol

The v8 in mine is a 305 out of an old chevy pick up truck, nothing special. Runs good but need some work. All stuff I plan on doing. Not a huge fan of the v8 in the little truck but I will admit it is fun.
BTW I am considering selling the wheels off this truck if someone is wanting them. I Previously made a deal with a person and would still like to honor that deal but he has told me that he understands if I need to get rid of them sooner. The trick is I will need a set of stocks or something else to roll the truck on. I would like to get at least 600 out of them and still have something to drive on? No biggie if no-one wants them. They are not hurting anything were they are at. Let me know.
