nube with a mission '93 b22(9-22-2010 pics)

let me get this outta the way.... images will be posted as soon as i get a digital cam and/or can transfer some from my phone..... for some reason my phone will take pics, but i can't upload to my computer...
anyway.. haven't decided on a name, but so far...... new waterpump, all front plastic off, except grill, temp turnsignals, since this is my first project (and currently my daily) my father's gonna help with all the need to get done or i can't drive it help.... when time allows, he's a trucker so it's not too often he's able to be there... but as far as dropping it, i'm gonna start with 2" and then lower to suit, if 2 ain't low enough for me... i've decided even though the plastics on the front are a bit, shall we say, out of factory spec, i'm gonna try to save em, maybe shave em up a bit and modify to my liking, so i don't have to spend too much money on this, at least at this point.. money's tight for the wife and i.... all of you probly know how that is right now...oh, and i may need a new frame...lol.... right inside the rear pass. fender well you can see through it due to rust.... and it's starting to do the same on the driver side, same area..... maybe i'll just lose the bed....lol hopefully not while driving....think i'm gonna go with a paintjob similar to the one i saw on the movie "Beyond the Law" it was a pretty cool look for the bike, wonder what it would look like on my mini.......black with an almost dark sky blue.... can't remember what the color was called but i did a mc helmet with rattlecan flat black and that blue, looked pretty cool to me..... so....thoughts and ideas welcome..... probly needed.... and here is what i'm starting with......

Full Tube Chassis!!!

yeah, pretty bad.... the rust starts about where the cab ends and gets to where ya see there... and the driver side is getting there too...
like i said i'm a nube... so please explain full tube chassis..... thanx

you'll get a kick outta this, the temp blinkers are wired from the trailer tow harness back to the lights up front... only 20 bucks as compared to the 30 the guy at the junkyard wanted for one blinker..... and until the plastics are fixed i would have had to ducttaped the lights on the front.....lol.... man i can't wait to get this thing in at least better condition.... one of the other threads had a website that has the blinkers for like 25 bucks... not sure about shipping but i sure am glad i saw that before i went to the j.y.... i nearly laughed at the guy when he said 30 bucks for one blinker... but out of respect.... i politely said..... sorry to waste your time..... i mean new ones from orielly's are like 40. with a warranty.... so pass......

make a full frame from tubes

where would i be able to get ahold of that.... i mean... engines are easy for me, spent four years workin f18 engines, and all the schooling for my A&P, but maybe i'm just nuking it when it comes to the chassis lingo....(for those that don't know....nuking means thinking too deep.... as in nuclear submarine)

that would be cool, i only need one, but problem is i hit a baby deer doing about 20, maybe 15 mph, didn't kill it, it rolled off the bumper and got up and ran off.... so whew, i about cried man, don't get me wrong i am a hunter, but accidentally killin a baby kinda got to me.... anyway, when i hit it, it toasted the whole right blinker. lens, and housing.... but i'll see if i can get a hold of a lens and get back to ya... thanx
