Earl, I must agree with Jenko- EXCELLENT photos!! I did check to find that there was some goo, discoloration and etching around the 47microfarad cap on the right. I can't tell if I have any broken traces until I get it out of the board. It does look like some heavy corrosion around some of the feed-through points on this board, which can be easily repaired with a hot soldering iron. I'll get this thing repaired this weekend and let you know. In the mean time, there is still the issue of the open port on the bottom of the plastic vacuum can behind the battery. Is this supposed to be open to atmosphere?
Thanks Again,
H.

Last weekend I tried to paste something from my Word document into a Reply, but it wouldn't "submit", tried like 10 times. Then I took out an URL link or a photobucket reference or something, and it went through. Of course I don't know why, duh !!!!

When I browse thru these threads seeing Axel and Cusser as well as the others from MT it feels just like being there again.

Is it the black cylinder you're talking about? If so that's the charcoal canister and I believe the bottom right port is for the purge solenoid which is the yellow one, I'm pretty sure it's the yellow one atleast, on the mounting bracket. Idk if the injectors are low or high impedance but if they're high then that's normal resistance. If you can get it to kind of start from starting fluid then it's more then likely a fuel related issue, can you pull the injectors and check for spray pattern?

To the OP if you can get it started go ahead and tap the MAF sensor, if it dies out or stumbles real hard then it looks like you need a new sensor.

Earl my man, you are a genius!!! I installed a new 47 microfarrad capacitor, fixed a couple open through-hole ferrels, added 2 jumper wires, put it all back together and listened gleefully as Just FIVE times the engine rolled past the number one cylinder before ramping smoothly to cold idle RPM. If you ever chance to be in Terre Haute, Indiana, I seriously and sincerely owe you a steak dinner at the best place in town. Really, thank you!
I was gonna tell you about hearing the band of angels sing, but my wife shut me down.

GREAT!
I know when people have troubles with the ECU a lot of times it is an issue where it bogs when you give it any gas what-so-ever, so I figured if it were my truck, first thing I'd do is take a look at that ECU board!
If I ever make it out that way, I'll take ya up on it!

Glad you got it fixed Doctorweber!

Oh, I'll take a look at my charcoal canister on my B2600i and see if it has a bottom port and if it is hooked to anything, tomorrow some time.
