That was the answer I was looking for although I will be ordering online so it's a little sketchy for me - I DO want the all aluminum unit.

I would hate to order online and get a different one.

I see the all aluminum ones all over ebay but listed as 1 row cores.

Just to save some $ I would buy walmarts super tech antifreeze coolant in the BLUE container for 10.97 everyday! It does state in a red label and white letters Must add water. It is the same green coolant I use in all my vehicles and rides I service.Prestone is fine just cost more that is all.I just recently have done two coolant flushes and saved some cash and walmart is everywhere and close to me at that.

Cusser, when changing the radiator, I took out what I think is the temperature sender? Well whatever it is, the gasket is gone. does the Murray one have one? Lol

The Murray aluminum radiator has a plug there. It's the middle one of the five things on the bottom in this photo: From left: radiator hose fitting, drain port, port for temperature sender, then the ATF ports. This sender - I believe - is for the PTC heater under the carburetor - if you have that, have it working, or live in a quite-cold climate. So you likely don't need that.

There's also a temperature sender on the engine for the emissions system, and of course the temperature sender near the thermostat outlet for the temperature gauge in the dashboard.

Does the port for the temperature sender have a gasket with it? Or do I need to find another?

I'm assuming -on good faith - that there is a gasket under that plug. Because my radiator doesn't leak there.

I also unscrewed the two "peckers" or tubes for ATF lines of the automatic transmission trucks and just left them like that, they got in the way.

Hmm I was wondering cuz when I follow the wire it goes to the harness i'm guessing in the front of the truck? Does it affect the temperature gauge? would it be fine to just leave the plug there on the radiator? Did you use the same plug from your old radiator? And what are the other two things for? Do I need to cap them? Or how do I go about removing them?

I just left the plug for that sender on the radiator, didn't touch it. That does not affect the temperature gauge, that sender is on the head, near the thermostat outlet on top/front/passenger side of the engine, near the top radiator hose, kind of hidden.

The ports on the right in the photo are for the ATF inlet and outlet for automatic transmission trucks. I just unscrewed the short tubes, didn't cap off (no need to, that was for separate cooling of the automatic transmission fluid).

ohhh. ok so what should i do with it then? haha

and ill do that too for the other two!

What should I do with the sender? Do I take the wires off and tuck them away??
