Well it's starting on petrol but only at full throttle, which makes me think its over fueling during startup or something making the air/fuel mix top rich?
Could it be afm?

Well a little progress, I think. It is overfuelling something massively while trying to start and wetting the plugs.
I found it will start easy with no throttle unassisted if I unplug the Air temp sensor. Do you guys have Air Temp Sensors on your motor?

Can someone test the resistance of a working one and let me know what it is please. Mine tests are ambient temp at 32(K)ohm which i think it means its faulty I just want to confirm this with someone that has a working one.

According to manual on our trucks, the air temp sensor should real between 29,700 and 36,300 ohms at 25 celsius. So it sounds like it is good unless your temps there are much different.

Thats a picture of my board looks different to your guys.

Definitely different. How many connecters are on the truck harness that plugs into it? What color is the connecter?

It has 2 connectors into the harness im pretty sure

I think the color connector is just black.

Well the starting problem was my fault, the air temp sensor and coolant temp sensor plugs are identical and about 20cm apart, I had those back to front causing it to overfuel.

I tested the 02 sensor and found it faulty i have replaced that and it all seems to be working now.

Is there some way to test the MAF sensor?

So you had the plugs switched on the coolant temp and air temp? Or just the truck harness connecters?

You can find the steps to test the MAF right here: B2600i Mass Airflow Sensor Test
Keep in mind that this is for a US model, but I'd be willing to bet they are the same. If your number don't match these, I'd track down the Aussie procedures to make sure before I'd replace it or buy a new one. Also, if you have a p/n on it, we could compare numbers to make sure they are the same.
