man love the setup looks awsome jw how does that cross member not hit the drive shaft or do you have it that percise on suspension travel that it wont hit.
It helps having a two piece drive shaft. The pivot for the shaft is right behind the cross member, so it doesn't move much where the cross member is. Laid out there is about an inch between the drive shaft and cross member. At full lift (which will be on limit straps at 9 inches) there is about 3/4" between the shaft and cross member. The axle may move 9 inches, but it's only moving about 5 where the cross member is, because it's so close to the pivot. This doesn't really work on one piece shafts, and you won't see me using this design on them.
The quality of works is excellent as always Seth. Nice welds and this is coming from a guy who used to do X_ray quality welds for a living... (Yes they used to Xray my welds at a job I had a long time ago)
