Well, My civic came with a D15B2.. Which is a Dual point injection motor.... Shitty for performance but great on economy. It blew a head gasket about a year and ago and I replaced it, re surfaced the head and got her running again... 20 sec. in the new OE timing belt snapped... Interference engine. No bueno. So has since sat unattended.. I wanted another SOHC since I wouldnt have to do mounts or conversion kits for a DOHC. I went with a 92-95 EX/SI motor, Its a D16Z6 SOHC Vtec. I have the ECU out of my del sol Im gonna run on it. Car will be ready to run by sunday, Only thing Ill be needing is my jumper harness to go from OBD0 to OBD1, Unless I find an SiR ECU which is an OBD0 Vtec ecu. Ill have the trans off that D16Z6, I wont need it. Its a Hydraulic clutch and mine is cable, So instead of converting, My trans is fine and am just going to reuse. Pretty anxious to get this motor and drop it in. I had this swap in my 94 Hatch, With a chipped ECU (similiar to what Im going to run) And it was plenty fast for me to have fun and sill get great MPG.
