Didnt really take too many pics of the wiring, I can though. Ill take some tomorrow or Sunday for you, Before the swap goes in. Its extremely simple (crossing fingers hoping it fires right up) lol, Im also going from obd0 to obd1 system, My jumper harness for my ecu will be here tomorrow. Just got back from getting the motor. Sitting in the back of the Element now. Tear the trans off tomorrow after work, and get everything ready to drop in for Sunday

Justin, Theres tons of tech write ups online, Just one thing I learned is to find one you like and go with it, There are at least 3 different versions I found, Ill send you the link to the one I used if it works out well for me. I finished up the chassis harness (ecu side) Today, and the engine harness only needs me to hook up the injector plugs (wires are ran, was just waiting for the motor) aaaand the distributor plug, Which is just a re-pin Soooooo close!!!

Justin.. My wiring was a little more in depth because not only was I going from DPFI to MPFI, But I also went from OBD0 to and OBD1 system.. AND went with a Vtec motor... Not gonna lie, Pain in the ass. I had to run a Sh*t ton more wires than the standard DPFI to MPFI swap.. I suggest just buying the conversion jumper harnesses lol. Seriously. Doing it yourself saves you money yes.. However buying them pre made save you headache and annoyance.

Looks like a good start. The pine needles kinda adds to the overall congestion in the pic LOL. Does not look like you have too much more to do. Good luck on the startup.

Waiting till you get done to start? Or are you just scared to see how bad you fucked something up? haha. I will most likely be going the exact same engine swap you are doing so as many pics/info you can give would be great. I actually just went and picked up some drag DR-46 red spoke 15s for mine today. Got some HID's for it too. Think im going to order the ground control coilovers and yellow konis very soon. Cant stand this 4x4 look much longer.

Was waiting til I was done with all the wiring that way I get no codes thrown on the ecu Mine are 16'' CS-1 wheels, need new tires though. I have adjustable coil overs on it, Drilled/slotted rotors up front.. Stock struts, upper strut bars front and back, I love the way it rides and is glued to the road, I have 8k HIDs Hi's and Low's

Went to start it tonight and click....click....click, No cranky, lol. I used the starter off the new motor because it is a gear reduction as oppose to mine being a direct drive.. I text the guy I got the swap from and he said starter was fine, Should crank.... Not exactly what I wanted to hear. SOOOO tomorrow Im gonna pull it out and test it at work see if it is bad.. Battery is brand new. Good news is the fuel pump primes like its suppose to... And the check engine light cycles like its suppose to too Clutch switch also worked and my reverse lights come on.. Sooo so far lol my wiring is fine.. We shall see.

Honestly Justin Its a bitch swap. I hope Im happy with the outcome. Ill give you any and all the info you need when youre ready. Ill take detailed pics when you need em too..

Well Motor is done and runs great, 2 codes thrown, vtec oil pressure and cylinder position sensor. Cyl pos is either A) bad sensor in my brand new (reman) dizzy, or B) i have a wire backwards, Ill find out tomorrow, Vtec pressure switch is either A) bad plug at the solenoid or B) I again a a wire backwards.. Right now has a stock tune on the ECU, Until I figure out these codes Im running stock tune, Once figured out... Hardcore street tune heres some pics... and like I said.. looks BONE stock original Oh and a small video
