Lol, Yea those rims are popular, But look killer on this truck.. Well, I got the harness cleaned up all the circuits I dont need I took out. The wire harness had some cut wires from the mouse hat was living in the truck lol. So I cut those clean, and soldered, heat shrinked all the bad ones. Also took the lookoff the headlight harness and replaced it with shrink wrap, Looks a lot better. Removed the ABS wiring from under the hood, and ran the harness under the brake booster. The digital cluster didnt light up entirely, But I didnt have the whole dash plugged in, so I assume Im missing some grounds.. But the main lights come on.. like the check engine and brake light and stuff, I got it to start too. But only with feeding it fuel, Thefuel pump isnt working, Also it had a horrible clunk in the starter, Dunno what it is, Thinking maybe my timing is off a lil bit too.. Itll take some time to get it right.. Pretty stoked it started though

Well, Its been really hard to get work done the truck lately, I dont have a garage and the weather hs been crazy here with wind and rain. I pulled the platinum plugs out today and put OE AC Delco Copper plugs. Replaced the plug wires today too, I found out 2 of them were burnt and 1 of which was arching to the exhaust manifold. Going to re do the timing to make sure its exactly where it needs to be from the factory. The next time its sunny ish and I have some time off work Im going to clean out the interior, and pressure wash it, Grind some welds, and spray rubberized coating over everything. Once I do that Ill post some new pics I also want to go through the engine harness and replace all the loom cuz its all dried and rotted, also found 2 vac lines I have to replace.

Well, Next week my wheel are getting powder coated deeeeeeeep gloss black, The chrome is pitted and chipped realllly badly and my buddy wanted to do that for me for xmas which is tight. (I got him HIDS for his Tacoma) Also I dropped off my two front seats of my 4dr civic to get finished black and grey leather I got a motor for it and am putting it in in about 2 months (After I replace the carpet and get my harness re wired to accept this motor) I installed new plugs and wires on the s10 and am going to do the timing this weekend and try to fix the fuel pump wire with the bed on. Hopefully Ill be able to pull the bed off soon, So I can rebuild the speaker box for 2 JL W7's

Most of all of it is cut out, and the harness is up out of the way. Going to steam clean everything, Spray it with rubberized undercoating nd then lay fatmat over everything..

Looking good! Amazing sometimes how much extra wire can be removed from some of these trucks! When I stripped the computer and all the associated wire / solenoids / etc. I probably filled 1/2 a trash can. The powder coated rims should look great! Are you doing any kind of wiring diagram for your new setup? I did for the purple truck just so I could keep things straight

Well, Im not re wiring the truck necessarily.Im using all factory wiring and wiring schematics, Just removing all the un necessary circuits (ie: a/c and heating controls, Blower motor circuits. Cruise etc) My harness is now bare necessities. I want to get rid of afew more circuits under the hood and re loom the whole engine harness.....maybe heat shrink all of it instead, I like the look of itbetter however its harder to work with if something were to fault...
Happy New year Everyone!! This morning I got my timing all situated, BUT now I think I need a new starter, Itll crank for about two seconds and then kick off but still spin, Sounds like the solenoid is disengaging the appendix drive too early.. Or the teeth are fucked....ORRRRR the flexplate teeth are fucked lol. Either way Ill need a new one or the other, Lets hope just the starter lol. Dont really feel like swappin out the flexplate lol. Next sunny day, Im gonna throw a shraeder valve on my tank and filler up and pull the rims and media blast them for powder coat Also found out the front bags are loose as hell and need to be adjusted and tightened badly lol.
