Yeah, once this is in full epoxy primer I'm getting back to work on it.

I can't remember the last pictures I posted but the engine and transmission is set back in it lowered about 2" into the frame. I also go the lower link bars made and mounted.

Finally onto some work --->

I'll try to dig out install pics later but here is my tailgate with smooth tailgate skin. I had it sitting in storage for a couple years so I needed to clean off the rust.



Time for stripping! My awesome gf helped too! Finally we started to get rid of the spray paint. Did I mention I hate spray paint jobs?



It had many many layers of paint, I was nervous after every pass. I was afraid of finding a ton of bondo.


Shaved Fender and hood cleaned up

Got the bed and tailgate skin cleaned up. The bed had some spots, but nothing to thick. I'll be doing some metal work on the bed after I get it coated first.



Getting the driver side door and fender ready.

It was time to put the new bed on and keep it in the garage, out of the weather.
