sorry i forgot to snap a pic i was painting my shell and forgot ill try to remember tonight

shell looks tight bro! was it just like painting the truck, or did you have to do extra prep work?? and you should sell me the magnum motor.

I don't think there a differents from both motors on the outside expect the valve cover. I have a jdm engine and i though it was plain stock until i did my head gasket and i noticed i have doom pistons. So i figured i have a mangum engine. ( sorry no pics, didnt have own a camara at the time). I didnt noticed anything different when i switch over my american parts. Might have to tear the head off to find out or wait until u have to do a head gasket swap later n find out then. Good luck! The truck is lookin good every time i see the posts!.

kool pics, but I'd say that chances are that it's not a true magnum engine, just a valve cover since the engine has all the emissions stuff on it...although someone could have gotten the jdm version & just put all the emissions stuff back on....but I'd say it would have an adverse effect with the ecu and carb since it's supposed to be a higher compression engine...would be interesting to know what's under the crown so to speak...
