There is a NOS JDM Magnum mota for sale on Ebay.New on the crate.ONly problem is guy is selling the long block on one auction,turbo on another,FI intake on another,etc.Of course the long block is useless with out the other stuff.I just emailed him and asked him why he didnt sell it as a package.If u want to see what the mighty Magnum looks like it is on Ebay Maz parts and accessories.bj

Damn I would love to have that engine!!! I have won 5 of his auctions before on Ebay, I highly recommend him as a seller.

Tweaker-I think u r right about the 1.8.But it also had a lite pressure (I think 5 pounds or so) turbo ,had forged crank and rods,and was fuel injected as well.About 150 hp or so.Neat little engine.I may bid on it just to see if I get lucky and snag it.BJ

Hell for that price I am thinking about bidding on it...just need to know shipping. I need a motor after all.....It should bolt up to an aut trans right?

^^ Yeah, Jeff it will fit either the manual or auto trannies from 86-93 b2000/b2200...

I don't know if what dude said in his auction is right or not about the forged internals, seems like overkill on an engine with minimal boost, heck they prolly just used a thicker head gasket to get the lower compression.....it may seem kinda assanine to tear down a perfectly good motor, but IF I were to bid on it and win the bid, I'd deffinately pull the oil pan to check and see if the crank & rods were forged or not, and pull the head and look @ the pistons & valves too, this would solve some of the myths that surround this motor once & for all....here's the thing, no reserve, yet he posts what msrp was on the items from mazda, I'd venture to say that if the $$ on the bid doesn't increase substantially, he'll prolly close the auction before he lets these parts go for little of nothing! (I could be wrong tho & it wouldn't be the first time, lol haha!)

He will have a substantial reserve price .I have bought stuff from him before and it is always NOS and just as advertised,but he doesnt let anything go for cheap.He is also located in Vancouver,BC which means shipping for that mota will be a beaotch,especially for me.I hope a bunch of Sceners dont get to bidding against each other and drive the price into the stratosphere.I wonder if u could just bolt up the regular intake and exhaust and use it as a normally aspirated engine without the turbo and FI? Course u would lose a lot of hp that way.BJ
