Buying weber for my B2200 today or tomorrow, there are 3 choices on ebay. The 32/36, the 34/34, or the 38.
On the weber website they only list the 32/36 and the 38 for the b2200. They say the 38 is better if you plan on doing other mods. I have a stock engine with the cat removed. I plan on getting a header in the future. So question is: Is a header and exhaust enough mods to warrant the 38? They say on the website further mods will require re calibration of the 32/36. So who has what weber with what mods? Why do they not list the 34/34 on their website but its listed on ebay as one of the common replacements. Help please. ASAP as I'm ordering soon

I have the 32/36. My truck had not run in a couple of month because I was building it. One of the things I did during the build was the carb and header. When it finally came time to start the beast up, I poured a little fuel down the carb to prime it, and it started right up. I took the entire computer and harness out for the stock carb and emissions out as well. I was shocked it started right up. Anyway, I haven't driven it yet so I can't tell you much more on the carb yet. All I know is that it came perfect from weber. I never changed a jet, adjusted the screws, nothing.

Ok i got the inside story today. I ordered the 32/36
The real deal is that the 34 is not a true weber carb. Its made in south america unlike the genuine weber thats made in europe. it's actually a solex (?) carb which is not that bad, but not a real weber, and very hard to get parts or any support for. Also qulity controll in south america is nowhere near that in europe. Happy I ordered the 32/36 which is a real weber

I've 32/36 on my truck right now. Handles the turbo just fine.
