the box on the firewall?I am really confused.There are several solenoids on the pass side fender well that vac lines fit into.One is an altitude compensator,one is a large black cannister that is a vapor recovery system from the fuel tank,and the others are various temp and pressure adjustment solenoids.No adjustments on those.They either work or dont.Have u pulled the side cover off ur EGR valve on the side of the carb and cleaned it?if it gets gunked up it can cause major performance issues.bj

hmmm i only have one fuse box that ive seen, which is the one under the hood but thats not a bad idea i will check those right now! because i mean it runs awesome through the gears just will not idle! idk weird

i forgot to mention that my truck is a 84, they only have one fuse block that uses glass fuses i do belive i could be wrong, but i did look under the dash and stuff, didnt see one

man it should, but i have looked every damn were, and i cant find one, i have one laying in the garge but cant find were it goes, i have a haynes that states in on top of the valve cover but no, a forum member showed me a diagram once and it wasnt there either so idk, that was my first thought when this went on

Dont just spray the carb try around the intake also. Can you get a pic of the engine bay. BTW make sure the carb cleaner your using is flamable alot of the stuff they have now is non flam.
