what is this?? has vacuum runing in and out like three lines
whats this? has a line coming out of the botton that runs into a T to the air cleaner,a and a line outta the side that runs into the same to that suck against eachother in to one of those check valves. That lines that comes outa the bottom actually had engine oil in it?

aw,shit.The round black cannister with the green dot on it is a charcoal trap for fumes from the gas tank.The other black box with the air cleaner hoses going into it is an oil fume trap.It picks up blow by fumes from the valve cover,lets them condense in that black thingy and returns fumes to be reburned thru the carb.That is why u are getting some oil dripping from it.Take it off,clean it out and reinstall it.It is probably real gummed up.About as useless as tits on a boar hog.BJ

no man, the gold round thing, whats that???? its the one that has the oil in the lines? i emagine its just emmisions to, but if thats all those two black boxes do then there not my prob, hell i took the evap canister and shit outta my s10

is there a way to check the idle stop soleniod?? and i dont have engine fuse or anything that i see so its possible its straight power of something heading to it?
