You folks sure are helpful, maybe I can do this without screwing up!! I ordered a new clutch from NAPA, I seem to have better luck with their parts, even though they cost a bit more. I have not removed the transmission yet, but should I order a flywheel. Just in case I need it. What do you guys think?

You can machine yours if you need to.

Unless it's scored,it's probably ok.

Or you can get one, and then if you don't need it, you could take it back.

guess i'll throw my post in here.

i just got an exedy clutch set from an ebay dealer.

got everything pulled found my flywheel was cracked, and never checked the pressure plate on the old fly to see if it fit, so i found out as i was installing everything.

has anyone bought an exedy clutch and had the same problem, they're both daikin clutches/plates, kinda stumped that the plate doesnt align with the flywheel.

the align holes are off a good 3/16. its under warranty, should i just claim it deffective or return the whole thing and get a napa OEM set up?

right on guys.
