Welp some of you know the frame on the b2000 was toast. I have pics posted on the "I HATE RUST" thread....So i then planned to do a sfbd firewall back....But i think i have opted to the route of using a std. cab frame, extending it to hold the ext. cab...then using the std. cab bed.....Sooo.. Finally getting started a bit on this project after a slow start and a few early bumps... Here are a few pics of the current standing since this evening

Ext. cab frame (I can stand on the end of it in the rear...note i weigh about 180...and make the frame flex in and out..i found many more spots then just this)

and this afternoon progress is...that the single cab is off and ready for scrap!!

it would be worth a couple bucks to you now if you pay someone to remove the windshield from that cab and the core support - never know when you'll need em .

NEVER know - some misfortune may happen down the road and you need a core suport . these trucks are getting harder and harder to find bro. just sayin .

Thanks for the heads up...But i already planned to get all that out before i haul it off....Ive already got the side glass bubble wrapped and put away....Still planned on getting rear and front glass out...along with the core support, and any other part that i think could be of any use or sold (i <3 ebay)...I just wanted it off the frame so i could see my current situation a little better..lol

Here is a thread back from the dead huh? Its been a while since I have made any updates... So here goes... White truck as pictured got swiped of good parts and the rest scrapped... The frame was totally shot except the front clip... Soooo... I was able to come across another truck for a good price....Actually was a guy that was on here at one time... Stock besides suicide doors.

Ive been slow moving still, between work, running out of room and good weather to work on it, getting a house, etc... I just havnt had much time.

Current standing....Truck is on stands... Trad. bd'd to the rockers... most of the inside is welded up (all the way up to the tub/firewall area which i am doing all new)... Back frame is notched, started the work on the front bag setup, smoothing and welding up all holes in frame that are not being used... etc.

Ive been held up waiting on my motor...Got it back yesterday (just got it checked, bored .030 over..nothing major)...Hope to get it put together next week or so...ive got parts coming my way from all over the place for it......Then get the mounts, etc. fabbed and mounted... As soon as I get this part done, things should start moving a little better.

I will try to update things as I can....And will attempt to get some pics up sometime soon.

Hope everyone has been well here... I have browsed, but not logged on much at all.

Yeah I prefer the no wiper look....Just gotta keep the windsheild good and waxed up..lol...It works pretty well that way.

I have 20" Sartori S5's that are going on it (yota pattern)
