Considered it, heck still might do that, bit that is also more than I want to do. Plus cutting thatuch of a bed off at a junkyard with a hackaaw would be difficult.
If I had a spare one I could see how it would line up, but the stock axle was about 1" further back than the IRS assembly. I'm likely to have the same issue. The only regular cab bed I have is firmly mounted on my 87. The finding a good reg cab bed is the hardest part. Lately the only Bs that make it to PaP are rear ended or rusted through. Last good one I saw 91 B2600i was extended cab.

Its resting on a table actually, lol. I'm kinda sad though, I put a lot of work into that bed just to not be using it. A lot of paint too on the under carriage, welded the fuel door, and patched the floor
