Nice work on the mounts! Wish I had the equipment & skills to weld aluminum but oh well. Good luck on the rest of the build.

worked some decent angle out of the stock steering system

not a really good steering design for drifting but it will work for now. maybe rack and pinion later.

Let me know if you need help with the rack & pinion, I bought one made by Flaming River for my Toyota. It is a narrowed pinto rack and has a near perfect width for my application. I think the Toyota and Mazdas have a similar frame dimensions.

I'm really loving this build, great work on the motor mounts!

Can you come clean my engine next?

Hey thanks. Im designing a system that will be slow ratio going straight ahead and a faster ratio the further you turn. We will see if it works out.

Not bad for being older than I am

timing system is a little worn, ill replace it soon. Along with making an adjustable cam sprocket.

I NORMALLY HATE BLOCKS, but ill make a temporary exception.

and im making some of these. They will help with rear suspension movement when sideways.

Small worthless updates I know, but im trying to get a little done every day and alot done on the weekends.

I could drop the cab back on but the driveshaft is holding me up. I cant find a slip yolk for a 240 and Im not sure if just any one out of a hardbody will work.

Anyone know anything I dont?

i think the slip yolk from a 240sx will work. the s13 is a solid connection while the s14 is a u joint. mpt sure if you are going to run a 2 pc or a solid driveline. if solid for sure the s14
