Very clean project to start out with!

i would totally say "we" lowered her truck today.... but it was seriously cold so i did it by myself. 3 inch blocks in the rear, left all the leafs in place, and cut out the bump stops up front, re-keyed the torsions 2 teeth and sat it back on the ground. its soooo not at nose bleed height anymore... will get pix up tomorrow perhaps...

My first B an 87 was not washed for 3 years by the owner, it was a tan/moss two tone paint job fact paint except for the hood that was repainted. The inside suffered from coffee,mud,dogs, and who knows what else. I used my random orbital buffer and a heavy compound to knock out the oxidation, then a one step cleaner, polish, wax and BOO YAH.

well it was either that or lift it lol, and i dont really like lowered trucks/cars cuz you cant go muddin in em lol, thats y my truck is gettin lifted lol, soon as i get some money since i dont get shit back from my tax returns.....

Sooo he lowered it yesterday, 3 inches. That's as far as it's going. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Got the wipers working today, the wiper arm was off a bit. =^.^= Now I can drive it in the rain!!! And we bought new wiper blades today too.
See? It's orange on one side. Not that it really matters, the whole truck is going black and white on the outside anyways. =^.^=
So in a total of 2 months, I have a running, drivable, non gas guzzling truck going in my name, that I can full control over what's done to it. My boyfriend is the bestest!!!!!! <3

Just make sure you nide the keys and put locks on the hood and any where else so he dont make it lower on you.

hahaha one of the guys can sneak under the truck at any time and twist the torsions down somemore! no keys matter in stopping that!

(<start courtnye read block>: that would be really funny, just make sure you do it on a saturday night, so she finds it slammed on sunday-assuming she has nothing important to do on a sunday... at least something she can be 10 mins late for... lol </end courtnye read block>)

ontopic: i think the truck looks pretty neat right now, white pinstripe, the white wall tires, chrome trim, bumper, lowered just right for half as$ comphy driving, and stamped gate! love it

Lookin good Cortnye. My daily is only lowered 3". It's a good height for them. lol

its really comfy cruisin over shit... my truck is quite a bit bouncier... but ive got the balljoint flip done up front, way more cranked torsions, and 2 leafs pulled on each side out back... but i left all the leafts in on hers and only rekeyed the torsions 2 teeth... her truck got some compliments last night about the moderate drop...

We went by our work to pick up my purse, cuz I'm easily distracted and left it last night. And this ram 2500 parks next to me, in our handicapped spot......dude totally wasn't. Grrr. That irks me!
