You have to notch the lower arm where it mounts to the frame. You have to open and elongate the u shape in it and that will let the arm travel farther. That held my truck up too

Im trying to get it set up to be fuel injected...just can't find an answer to my main question .... will a Ford probe gt with the 12v head intake manifold match up to my 8v head?

did away with some of the emmisions crap today... (dont judge my hacked ass inner fender. haha now that i dont have the i/m shit there i can cut it out good.

going to run the wires on the other side of the inner fender tomorrow after work too. then thursday gonna cut the lower controll arms to get that last 1.5" i need to lay out in the front.



also got a new steering wheel. outta the donor truck i bought... not too tacky i dont think.

the emissions stuff is needed for a stock carby unit, otherwise it'll run very rich and foul out spark plugs.

as far as the IM shit goes, i donno? all i know is that it accually runs better, does smell a bit more rich though. . . i hadda surge problem before, and now with all this shit gone it hasnt done it sense.... wonder if its more of an issue at lower elevation? im in salt lake witch is like 4200 or 4500'

well, ran some of the wires on the outside of the inner fender and cut a bit more out of the inner fender, also re located the relays/horn relay and the other relay thing...

may try to tackle the other side tomorrow after work. then thursday imma blow the front end appart and cut my lower arms so i can get it all the way layd out. and of corse cut more of the fenders out. (ghetto for now, ill have trailer fenders soon....

got some shocks installed... nothing too crazy. and still got some grinding and painting to do, but holy shit made a world of diffrense! i jus used the factory rear shocks. witch will make it easy wen i need to replace them
