Thanks guys, it's getting there.
Been doing little things mainly maint wise here and there to the B like a tune up, new master cyl, new rear wheel cyls, new brakes front and rears. The parts guy must of smoked his breakfast cause he kept insisting that the rear pads were the right ones, they looked like they were for a golf cart thank god camera phone.
I did get my Pacesetter header installed, CT Specialties had it ceramic coated for me. I first used a new stock exhaust gasket and it leaked maybe the Pacesetter's flange it not perfectly flat but warped ever so slightly. A buddy has a template for the exh manifold and some gasket material so I had to make a new one.
The muffler shop had do a little welding on it cause the slip-on flange would not seal. When i saw them grinding on it I was gonna cry but hey what can you do. They did swap out the glass pack or a Flowmaster copy, it was a little too loud and raspy for me the new improved setup has a pretty good deeper tone to it the ladies love it.
I noticed my gas mileage stunk and my so did my truck it would run rich, have that gas smell sometimes. A good mechanic said that webers need low fuel pressure like 2 to 3 psi other places I read said the same thing some tuners said new or newer ones can run on 4 psi.
Ebay find an adjustable fpr $20 shipped, did it help..... maybe but not the fix I was looking for.
I drive less than a mile to work and sometimes during the day I use the truck for errands. I checked the jets in the carb and all were close to spec but the mains were way out. Weber says 140/140 I had 190/200 no wonder it ran rich and had crappy gas mileage. Swapped em out for 140 primary/145 secondary and she runs like a champ.
Euro H4 headlights housings with led city lights, I was running 55w 5000K HID's but people kept high beaming me so for now I am just using regular bulbs I'll order some 35w ballasts and aim em down a little more.
