Thanks dude. That would be pretty cool to be in a mag, but not getting my hopes up.

I want to get the front calipers and shocks repainted, coat the underside of the front wheel tubs with herculiner, spray the top of the wheel tubs with black raptor bed liner (to match the firewall), put the passenger seat back in, as well as the interior plastics, install billet steering wheel, door panels, and clean up engine bay.

Not impossible to get that all done, but it will keep my busy until Oct. 4th... Considering I'll be in Vegas for a few days this weekend and just the normal busy days between work and taking care of my 6 month old. Gotta be honest, it was kind of nice having the truck at the body shop the past 3 months so I didn't have to deal with it, lol.

Looks good man! You should be proud, you are one of the very few of us who actually finishes a project or at least even gets to the painting part, and you've done it more than once!

I don't think I'll ever finish one of my project

What control arms are you running up front?

Just stock. I pie cut the uppers so the ball joint didn't bind up. I think this pic shows them well...

I painted the tops and bottoms of the wheel tubs yesterday. I used Raptor spray on liner on the top, and Herculiner roll-on liner on the bottom. I also repainted the calipers and shocks because they were bright red before. Only a few more things to do before the show this upcoming weekend, including wash the truck and detail the engine bay.

Nice stuff, its coming together great. But i think you should paint those hubs cuz they look like crap compared to everythig else now.
On a side note, the pop up gas cap arrived at my house today and its awesome. Thanks for sharing

Cool, no problem on the recommendation.

Good call about the hubs. I sprayed some paint on the rusty part of the calipers, but I'll do the hubs too. Thankfully I think they are pretty well hidden though when the wheels are on.

Here are a few pictures from the show this weekend. The truck placed in it's class (all Mazda's) and won it's first award!
