Truck looks titts! Must feel good seeing your work in print like that. Well deserved Mike

Thank you all. Yeah the wife and I were pretty excited to see that. Especially considering there was a little writeup with our names and 4 pictures. I know it's not exactly a feature or cover, but still pretty cool. It will make a good story to share with my kids someday.

I can only hope for something like that with one of my trucks one of these days! Mad props Mike!

Great looking truck, I love the paint choice, it looks just about exactly like the color I went with on my 66 Mustang, it was a GM paint code called Dark Cherry Red Metallic.

Very cool that you were able to use the HEI distributor in your 302 swap, I tried using one in mine but I had definitely hood clearance issues. My engine sits up probably 1 or 2 inches higher than yours, if I had been able to modify or replace the crossmember I could have sat it down lower. I used 1 inch steel spacers to raise the motor up off the motor mounts, but given the amount of clearance I have now underneath, I probably could have gotten away with 1/2 inch spacers. I loved the HEI (use one in my old 69 Ford truck) but I pulled it and sold on craigslist and bought a small distributor so no more clearance issues for me.

I am going to try to put an AC unit it mine, I had to remove everything to make room for the radiator but now that I have it all in place, I think I can probably get a smaller condenser (I see several generic "hot rod" style condensers of various sizes and outlet configurations on ebay) along with a smaller more modern compressor, fabricate some brackets to mount it, and then I would only have to find someone to custom make the hoses for me and charge the system, and I'd be back to having AC in the truck. Have you given thought to doing AC in yours?

I know several pages back (which was probably 2 years + ago in your build) that you were having some trouble figuring out the under-hood wires, I didn't see anything after that; were you able to find a good detailed wiring diagram? If so please share it with me, some of my gauges are working and some aren't and I have wires from both sides of the engine compartment that aren't connected. I was smart when I started working on the truck; I took a tie-wrap and paper label and wrote on each connector exactly what it went to. But 9 months worth of rain, sun, etc, have made most of them illegible! lol

Thanks! I haven't considered AC in this truck, as it never originally had it. Besides, I am fine with the windows down and the huge sunroof popped up or removed. It's not like Arizona or Florida heat here in PA.
I used a Haynes manual to help with the wiring schematics.

Truck is pending sale. I've received a deposit. Going to be very tough to let it go, but I'm in the market for something with backseats that I can fit the whole family. Something that is maybe 50-75% complete and I finish it with my own touch.
