76 Ford Courier with Miata suspension and soon miata engine

Wow Its been a while since I have been on here. The 84 13b powered b2000 has been long gone. I had the unfortunate luck of buying an s10... what a mistake... After that I picked up an 06 Chevy Colorado. What a bigger piece of shit!! Please avoid Colorados at all costs!!!! They are just junk.

So heres my next project/daily. Currently the 1.8 is sitting in the bed with a hole threw the block. I can either go with a perkins diesel engine from an 82 b2000 or throw in a little 289.

I put a $100 deposit down on it today. Full price was only $800. I found a 74 courier in waco but he wanted as much and it was a rust bucket.

I will pickup my new sexy truck as soon a this POS chevy colorado is sold.

no on the 289 bro -- thing gas economy .. hell put a 4.3 v6 s10 motor in it cause for one you can always beef the motor up later down the road if gas ever goes back down again . but in the mean time you can drive it with a v6 4.3

damn thats nice, very tidy! i wish we got that model in nz, the grill/headlight setup is much nicer than the mazda setup. go the v8!
