i have a buddy with one that has had nothing but problems with it...but that was after he did stuff to it

It was the 4cyc 2.8. Where to start, fuel guage didn't work, blower motor only worked on high, horrrrrrrible gas mileage.

Well some idiot came and purchased my Colorado today. So plan is to go pickup the courier tomorrow from Dallas and look at the donor truck also located there.

Donor truck is a 1982 Mazda b2200 diesel DUALLY with hydolic dump bed!!!! I have been interested in this truck for 2 years! Owner says mouse chewed threw wiring harness years ago. So might be a total nightmare.

Just need to decide if I am going with the dually or single wheel.

If any finds a 4x4 ford courier I a wrecking yard, let me know!

This is going to be a long build, done right.. Well as well as a redneck can! I still got the turbo from the last engine too!

The trip ended up being 320 miles round trip. Used up 3/4's of a tank of fuel. Averaged almost 30 miles to the gallon.

Where is the 84 b2000? I want parts

84 is still sitting in the guys yard that purchased it from me. The kid spray painted the blue interior black and screwed off the fender wells and grill.

I offered him $300 for if about 6 months ago. Said he wanted $400.

Nope no video of the golf pulling it. Stock tdi except for chip. It did very well doing 70mph and a/c running full blast in this 90 degree heat.

Ok, Picked up the 82 b2200 yesterday. Wow what an adventure to say the least. I kept level headed though which isnt normal. Truck was located about 150 miles away. We attached the tow bar and within a mile from the guys property it ripped through the front bumper. We managed to get it into a gas station. Took a little while to find decent spots to remount it. Ended up using a center punch to go thru the core support for the holes. Stupid old tow truck driver sat at the gas station for 2 hours hoping to tow my ride away. Trip ended up take 9 hours all together, but we all made it home safe and sound.

Pics of the BEAST!!!

never heard of a b2k desial dually b4. thats a new one on me .

i would have took a 2x6 and pulled the bumper off the b2k and mounted the tow bar to the frame horns . just an idea to use the next time you have to do it that way.

Wow now that's a rare option! It's probably not factory but would be pretty cool if it was. Did motor home manufacturers use the b series as a base? I know they did for toyotas
