thats true too. mine is the 91. its a roller motor with shorty headers edelbrock performer intake and an edelbrock 4 barrel carb it also has gt40 heads. im prob gonna swap to the c4 but i was just wonerin if the numbers would be close to the same or what they would be around.

Yes I think you would be very unhappy with the C6. I think you should be able to sell it for about twice what you could get a C4.

And, like I said I can talk you though rebuilding a C4 as you don't really have to pull every single thing out, just the clutch packs, and change the shift bands, plus a few other cheap tricks that I will tell you only in a private message.

One other thing you are missing as well and that is a big loss of gas mileage with the C6. I know this may be a moot point, but every little bit you can save will make the truck more fun to drive and enjoy.

Also, on the C4 DON'T get one made before 1969 as it has the 24 spline input shaft vs the 26 spline found in all later C4's.

I knew the C6 didn't sap 80 horses... but still a 60 horse loss is significant. No wonder Dad's 77 F-150 with a 400 couldn't get out of its own way!

well if everything goes righti will be rebuilding teh 302 this week and if i can get my buddys to help me it will be in by the end of the month
