Project: Creampuff

For the hell of it you should see if you can fit the tank, a slim an skinny tank and your compressors behind the axle. I did on my long bed, and I left the factory crossmembers in place (other than the spare tire one). I have the room to mount the compressors there too, I just didn't like the road grime that got on my last ones when I did, so they're in the bed this time.

So how is it you can have access to a bender for this crossmember but you cant have access to a bender to finish the other truck?

I bought 3 pieces of bent tube and welded them together. Worked out pretty well I think.

There's definitely not enough room behind the axle for all that. Barely enough room for the tank and compressors.

haha my buddy was one of the first owners of that truck...bet he's kickin himself now..looks good man

maybe 3, 4years i think more along the 4 years.. i said "first" as just before you had it..not sure really if he was one of the first or not

Fro cut out some of the upper link tabs, gas line bracket, and crossmember gusset today. Gonna try and do alot of work this weekend. Probably more pics tomorrow. Tryin to post thrm from my phone isnt working

Finally getting around to posting pics, passenger side front is all done and back together will new ball joints and brakes, upper link bar is almost mounted. any questions just ask.

Where we left off for the night, air tank is mounting there, rest of the parts are getting cut out this week, hopefully everything will be going back together for the last time next weekend.
