Got the door jambs on the truck and the front of the bed painted tonight. There's a pic of the spray out card below to show how much this color flips from blue to gold. It's going to look pretty cool when I get it done.





Going to put my bed back on this weekend and start running the air lines for the bags and mount the solenoids while it's still up on stands

Progress is looking great man! Were you surprised when you mixed the HOK primer? I remember the first time I sprayed it I was like wtf because I thought it was going to be tan like most epoxy primers.

It fades after awhile but it sands great!



Is the blue to gold paint HOK also? I like it!

That is an Alfa Romero color I found in one of my color chip books at work 6-7 years ago. Thought about just spraying it the factory blue but I already have the engine bay done from when I rebuilt the motor in 05.

Got my bed back on last night and the spray in bed liner came in the mail yesterday. After doing a bunch of reading I went with the u-pol raptor kit. Might spray it tomorrow so I can get my air tank mounted in the bed and start running air lines. How are you guys mounting the solenoids? I have the 1/2 blitzluft and they don't have any brackets on them?

I like the u-pol raptor liner kit truck is looking good.

I admire your dedication to your project for sure! You have really done a ton of work to it in 5 months, in your spare time!
Keep it up, and I can tell already, your gonna have one heck of a nice B when your done!
I'm an older guy that's not really into the lowered scene, but I know a dedicated mini trucker when I see one, and you are definitely into it!

i like the look man

Picked up rear seats, seat belts and a bunch of other misc parts at the salvage yard today. Only found 1 extended cab so I cleaned it out. They had a super clean standard cab lx b2600 down there I may go back and buy the doors. Mine have a fair amount to rust on the bottoms and there was very little on these. Depends on how much they want for them too

Got the spray in bed liner done tonight. Took about 2 hours start to finish but I already had some of the bed sanded. Used the u-pol raptor kit and I'm very happy with the way it turned out. There was enough in the kit to do 3 coats on everything. Here's the pics
