Body filler bug got to me so I decided to straighten the bed sides. Welded up the gas door, the bottom of the bed was crushed in pretty good behind the tire and had a rust hole above the wheel well. Going to coat everything with finish filler tomorrow and this side will be done. Ordered a roll pan from modplant this morning so that will be my project for maybe next weekend.
Not much to see but here's a pic of the progress

Got the passenger side of the bed all done and ready to prime. Going to start on the drivers side tomorrow. Not as much damage on that side so it should go pretty quick.

Took the past few days off but I'll be back at it tonight. Hope to get the drivers side of the bed done and start on the cab. Still waiting on my roll pan from modplant to finish up the bed

The Bed is turning out great man, can't wait to see it with the new roll pan!

What type of filler are you using?

I used to use evercoat rage extreme but it's getting expensive. We use 3m platinum plus at work so I bought some for at home. It's like $20 a gallon cheaper and I really like it. I finish off all my work with some stuff made by USC called icing. Sands super easy and fills in any pin holes left behind in the other filler.

I got the old roll pan cut off and started fitting the new one. Will be ready to weld in tomorrow
