Line-x is nice but $$$ Been reading a bunch of reviews even watching you tube videos on the u-pol raptor kit and I think I'm sold on that one. A lot of jeep guys have been using it with good results. I'm never going to haul anything in there so I don't care if it's 1/4 thick just want it to look good.

On a side note I wasn't wearing my helmet when I tacked everything in place yesterday and my eye lids feel super sun burned all day today. Guess I learned my lesson.

I know it's not right and someone will prolly bash me for saying this, but if you're doing a bunch of tacks and refuse to wear a helmet (for whatever reason) a good pair of shades will atleast save your eyelids from the burn. Of course, a self-darkening helmet is the correct PPE.

Bought a new welding helmet today so no more sunburn from the welder. Not much progress been working a lot all week but that's a good thing since I'm flat rate. Did get my valve assemblies built tonight and dug through all my fittings to see what I still need to buy. I'll have some free time sunday so hopefully I can get the rest of my bed floor finished up

Not a real big update but 2 hours later I got the gas filler mounted. Didn't really want to put it where I did but it will work. Going to find a better looking cap

pretty much straight up from the tank

Made fillers for the sides of the wheel tubs and started to smooth everything out. Didn't have any way to roll the notch cover so I started on the cab side and rolled it down tacking as I went. Unfortunately when I got towards the end it was getting tough to bend and there are a few wavy spots in it. Threw some filler in it and around the tubs to smooth them out. Also for all my fittings on the tank. On with the pics!

Probably add 1 more coat of filler tomorrow and start seam sealing all my edges and get it ready to prime.
