tucnrims Project "Sweet Dreams" update " 2 link is installed

Started painting the interior, coming along slowly, but progress is progress.

wet sanded dash pieces first, then sprayed white primer ( 2 coats ), then 2 coats of blue.





i have to sand a side as it was damaged, looks nice and clean with the white and blue




main dash, pillars,etc. and center console will all be white, the rest in blue. will do white door panels with blue flames I hope next month. then after taxes I will be painting the outside with a 2 tone, white on bottom and blue up top coming down at the fender into flames. cant wait to get started on that.

Looks pretty good tucnrim! Looks like you are taking your time and disassembling everything as opposed to just spraying chucks of dash at a time. The 2 tone should turn out very nice especially after you finish the 2 tone exterior.

thanks linn... yeah taking time one each piece individually makes for a better end result. got the heater trim done tonight and my vents,gauges back in. still have to work on the 3 white inserts, but it is looking good so far. will get it all in tomorrow and get some pics.





on a side note my cat sleeps in the funniest positions:

LOL, your cat must know my Jack Russell - they sleep the same way.

got the arm rest on the doors painted, speaker rings on the door, dash speaker grills and ash tray painted in blue today. out of paint now so will be a bit before another update, pics in a bit on what has been done so far.
